  • ***EDIT: A few days after this review was written I was walking by this place with my friend who I mentioned in the review and I heard somebody shouting at us from behind. I turned around and saw the owner aggressively sprinting out of the salon towards us. He pointed his finger in our faces and was yelling at us for writing this review. My friend asked what other option we had after what happened and the man continued yelling. I asked him to get his hand out of our faces and he stood there shouting nonsense as we walked away. Another demonstration of the disgusting lack of professionalism. This place is absolutely horrible. I am usually fairly articulate in my Yelp reviews but to put into words just how bad this place is would not be doing it justice. The staff are all so rude. They don't know anything about the products they carry. The general attitude felt when you walk in is that you are interrupting their sitting around talking and being on their phones. Both times I have popped in to grab a product nobody knew what I was looking for, (I eventually found it myself) the cost of it, or how to ring it up. A very close friend of mine was in a hurry before a date and popped in for a beard trim. The gentleman at the desk tried referring him to another guy who was there. The other guy appeared busy and blew him off in another language (did I mention they pretty much only talk in another language between one another when you're there?) so the guy at the desk said "no problem" and offered to do the trim himself. My friend sat down and the gentlemen grabbed a straight blade. My friend figured he was just lining his beard up but when he looked in the mirror the gentlemen had shaved a good portion of one side of his face bare. My friend commented "hey man I asked for a trim." The guy laughed and said "oh sorry it's ok don't worry about it let me finish." Moments later my friend felt the blade slice into his cheek. He jumped and before he could see in the mirror the guy pushed a towel onto it, reassuring my friend he was fine and it was just a small cut. As he started shaving again my friend felt him slice into him right above the lip. My friend jumped up and said "man what the hell are you doing?" When the towel came off my friend stood up and looked in the mirror to find himself with 2 large slices on his cheek and 1 smaller one by his lip and blood pouring out of all of them. The man apologized and told him the shave would be free (I would hope so considering he was half shaved and bleeding profusely). He handed my friend a woman's coat and said "here you are, sorry." My friend gave it back, grabbed his own coat and left. I saw him later that day when the bleeding had stopped and it was BAD. I could not believe that a professional had done this to him. Upon finding out where it happened I was much less surprised. Please do yourself a favour and do not ever go here. They are worse than incompetent and should not be in business.
