  • I was in town for Electric Daisy Carnival and wanted to catch up with a friend who lives in Vegas. Ive heard a lot of good things about the Bacchanal Buffet, so I really wanted to try it since I was in town, it made perfect sense. My friend told me that Groupon was doing a deal for 2 VIP AYCE Brunch Buffets that included 2 mimosas or beers for $88. According to Groupon, the value of the coupon is worth 164.98, it was a discount of 47% and saved $76.98. It was valid Monday-Friday before 1:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday before 10:00 AM. So, my friend and I decided to come on Father's Day Sunday. We rushed over and thought the line would be ridiculously long already but to our surprise there was no line. So I presented my coupon deal and paid an extra $20 for bottomless mimosas for the both of us. We were say immediately and our sever Santiago was GREAT! He was friendly and hustled and made sure that our glasses of mimosa or our peach green tea was never empty. So because of the Vegas heat, I really didn't have much of an appetite but I did walk around the buffet and they had an impressive selection from American brunch items to crepes to dim sum to sushi and seafood like prawns. The meats at the carving station was really looking amazing too. I tried their smoked brisket - super tender and well seasoned like some authentic Texas BBQ, prime rib (a bit too bloody for my liking I should have let the carver know), and beef ribs were tender but still had to use your teeth to pull the meat cleanly off the bone which is perfect so it's not parboiled first. I also tried their basket for chicken and waffles, individual plates of eggs benedict and steak and eggs, mini red velvet pancakes, mini donuts and churros - everything was spectacular. I truly understand why everyone speaks so highly of this buffet now. So I probably finished a pitcher and half of mimosa to myself and I was pretty stuffed and I'm not big on sweets but I caved in and decided to try the desserts too and I was impressed with their personal creme brûlée, cheesecake, and all the other decadent looking desserts that looked way to nice to eat. I was definitely impressed with the Bacchanal and given the chance I'd definitely return but even with the Groupon, $44 for a brunch buffet is a bit steep so it would probably have to be a special occasion for me to return, since there are so many hotels on the Las Vegas Strip with buffets and some with cheaper options but I'm certain that the quality and variety definitely will not be able to compare. Great job, Bacchanal!
