  • Somewhat disappointed with this place. Read all the good reviews and decided to give it a try for lunch last Friday. It's been open for a really long time so I figured it must be really good. First of all, service is not especially welcoming. It was uncomfortably hot and stuffy in the restaurant as well. On to the food...we ordered the fried wontons, I had the tom kha soup and my son had pad Thai medium. The wontons were really good, hot and fresh and the filling was not greasy at all. My son's pad Thai was ok, but it seemed very oily. The tom kha soup had a delicious broth and the chicken in the soup was flavorful and tender, but it had a lot of HUGE chunks of lemongrass and ginger that were really woodsy and inedible, of course. I've had this soup before and it seemed like these things were strained out before serving. Overall, the food was underwhelming, but I'll give it another try.
