  • These days you can find good eateries on the strip. Carnegie deli is one of them. If you're in the mood for good pastrami sandwich and some giant, creamy cheesecake, this place for you. Their portion is huge so don't over order but share. You could probably share the cheesecake with two or more people. The pastrami sandwich was the best ever. It's served over light rye bread. The pastrami meat is bright pink, soft, and thinly sliced. It's not juicy, not chewy and not overly peppery but it's perfect to my taste. This is not full service restaurant. You order your food at the counter and you get a number and they'll bring it out. The servers here are very personable and friendly. They do recommend you don't order too much and waste food. But make sure you leave some tips for them. They do work hard.
