| - I come here every week and every week they find some way to disappoint. I have the highest status you can have with hertz, twice over, and still my car assignment is only posted half the time, so instead of saving time you have to go wait in line for something that should be automated. I need an enclosed trunk to lock up valuables, and rarely get one without asking for a different car; another trip to the counter. They have one, and only one, person checking cars out of the lot, and it's not uncommon to wait 10-15 minutes (after spending 10-15 minutes dealing with their bureaucratic incompetence) to even leave the lot.
Also, I've been charged extra fees, and can never get a clear answer why. They don't tell you when you drop off the car, the fees just show up on your credit card, and then you're either ignored or get a run around when you try to clear it up.
