| - I'm really torn between a 3 star and 4 star rating, but I decided to stick with the 4 star for now due to the friendly staff and many kind future service promises. If my future interactions with the dealership don't work out like I hope they will, I may have to edit this to a 3 star, but for now I'm fairly satisfied with how my car buying experience went!
I worked with multiple people in all their departments (I mean, buying a car is an intense process) and almost all of them were very polite and helpful. Everyone seemed professional and like they knew their stuff.
However, I have to point out that a few people seemed to be forcing a lot of the packages/upgrades on me, and that really bothered me. While that's to be expected from a salesperson, I fee l like the proper way to get a customer to buy an upgrade is to explain the features and why/when/how they could be useful. Instead, the salesperson (I honestly forgot his name) repeatedly told me how EVERYONE has this upgrade, and EVERYONE loves it, and EVERYONE regrets it if they don't get it. While he did explain the upgrade, he seemed to emphasize the peer pressure aspect much more than the essence of the upgrade, which highly deterred me from even wanting to get the upgrade.
Beyond that, when it came down to actually purchasing the car and all the paperwork, the process was LONG. This was the first time that I had experienced taking over 2 hours to fill out paperwork and logistical data. I couldn't really understand why it took so long to print out the forms and stuff, but in the end everything worked out. You should expect to take the whole afternoon for the actual purchase of the car.
My final complaint is that my e-mails weren't responded to within a reasonable time. Taking 2+ days to respond to an e-mail is a little unacceptable, in my opinion. I gave up using e-mail and decided that calling was the better option, and that worked out a lot better in my favor.
Aside from the above mentioned comments, the rest of my experience with this dealership was great. The staff was friendly and courteous, and always made sure to offer me beverages. They apologized for the wait times and were all very knowledgeable and transparent. As should be obvious from my 4 star rating, I really did enjoy the experience, and I learned a lot. I love my new car and I'm really hoping that they'll follow through with a lot of their future services so that I can keep my review at 4 stars!
