  • Pride Animal Hospital is Dr. Roger Chen's office. Dr. Chen is a bit quirky, very in tune with animals, a bit less so with humans. His staff is fabulous, every one of them. They make up for his sometimes lack of bedside manner with his patients' owners. My dog actually gets excited to see them all. Especially love Kat, who is such a sweetheart. We had to put my parents' dog to sleep very recently, and she cried, too. It was touching. Also love Colleen, who is very kind and helpful, too. Dr. Chen seems to have a lot of longtime patients, and he puts his cell phone number on the answering machine, so you can call him if it's urgent. Dr Chen likes to err on the side of caution, which means you could potentially spend a lot on tests, BUT he will always explain costs up front and gets your approval beforehand, however. Tip: always check 1 800 Petmeds for a price of any medication (plus shipping cost), and he will match it. Can make a big difference!
