  • How the hell have I lived in Cleveland my whole life and never been to the Rock Hall? I have no idea, and yes, it saddens me too. That is, until the very last day of 2010 when I entered this famous establishment that just so happens to be a huge source of Cleveland pride. All I have to say is, booyah!! I can't tell you how incredibly happy I am to have this glorious, fun, well-rounded and fantastic museum as a part of our lake front. I think I was a little too young when CLE was just in the running to have the Rock Hall, but actually experiencing it first-hand makes me proud like it just happened! This museum has something that each and every person can connect to, in the perfect fashion of music. It doesn't matter where you're from, what you've experienced in life, how old you are, whatever--this treasure trove of historical tid-bits will suck you in to every little detail. Oh yes, that's right. Even this attention deficient diva was combing through everything I could lay my eyes and ears upon. Suddenly I turned into a child, turning around every 30 seconds saying, "Hey, come look at this!" I'm sure you could imagine how fun that was for my boyfriend, the target of this annoying chattering. I had no idea how many floors of exhibits the Rock Hall actually has! Imagine my shock when we finished walking through the ground floor, went up the escalator and, bam! I think I started to get a noise bleed from the height--and you better believe we went all the way to the top. The Rock Hall is one place that you can continue to visit and find new things that you didn't see before. I can't wait to go back to see a film and see all the new renovations when they're finished. Just a little interesting tidbit, only 10% of Clevelanders have been to this amazing museum! So, although I was ashamed, I was certainly not alone. Oh, and don't forget to bring your parking ticket inside with you to get $2 taken off at the customer service kiosk.
