  • I have been to this Urgent Care many times as I have lived in the area all my life. Each time the visits left me with no answers and no explanations or cures. Basically, only come here if YOU know what YOU have/need and need MEDS for it (like a simple ear infection). 1. I came here when I was about 17 (now 23) because I had lower abdomen pain for almost an entire day and thought my period was coming on or the like. The pain was unbearable and finally my mother took me at 7 AM the next day. We waited in the car until 8AM (when they opened) but the pain had slightly subsided. They did all the initial checks and when it came time to look at my abdomen, I could NOT bear them touching my stomach, not one bit. They told me the reason why (what I had suggested to them) which was that my period was probably coming on and if I had any more pain for the rest of the day, to go to the emergency room. Turns out I had appendicitis (when you absolutely need to get surgery to remove appendix or it will explode!!) and was rushed to the ER later that night. Thanks for nothing guys. 2. The next awful time I went was when my husband hurt his hand while training. He could not make a fist for two weeks and his hand was extremely swollen. We decided to check it out. They charged us $215 for an X-ray of his hand and he had nothing broken or sprained supposedly, it was just very swollen they said... For the next month and a half he could not use his right hand for anything and was a big burden at work where he uses his arms and hands all day. This was almost 4 Months ago and his hand still has not recovered: there is no actual bone in two of his knuckles. we think it's broken and slowly healing itself because, two of his knuckles are squishy it feels like tissue, but there is no hard bone as you would find on a healthy hand. 3. The last time I went was a month ago for my son (2yo) who had been throwing up once a day for a week straight and it was on a Sunday; had it been Mon-Fri I would have made an appointment with his doctor. I thought he had he flu which wears off in 3-4 days but he had not been showing any signs of recovery and hadn't ate basically anything but breastmilk for a week straight. They really didn't help at all, once again. Suggested he had gag reflux. Which is unlikely because he'd been throwing up for a week, not just a one-time occurrence. I said, "could It be that he ate something bad???" She responded with, yes and wanted to take urine samples. We waited for him to pee for about 30 minutes and he didn't. they insisted on a cadi but I declined. we just left. I really don't know why I went, I guess to get some answers as to when he would be feeling better or SOMETHING. They could've taken a swab of his saliva I'm positive, but urine samples, I know, are more efficient over any method. If you need meds, come here. If you need answers, you won't find any here.
