My husband and I love brunch after church on Sunday's. Lucky for us our church is in the East End so we have lots of great choices. Today we walked past Union Pig and decided to give it a try. The only downside is the limited menu, but what we ordered was excellent! I had the chicken & waffles and it was the BEST fried chicken I've had ever. Really crisp and not too greasy. The waffle was light and crispy at the edges. It came with a side of Mac n Cheese that could have been the star of the show! Hubby ordered Steak & Eggs which was brisket and "dippy eggs" with a side of potatoes and pickled onions. It looked great, not that he saved me any! Brunch for 2 was $29.
