  • Unknown Brewing has a ton going for it. Some Grade-A real estate (our most recent visit was before a Panther's game), a huge space to grow into, and owners who are willing to try new concepts. However, this place has failed to capture a distinct personality in a tough south end brewing market. During our last visit, it was under another re-design of it's tap room (I count 3 in ~5 years). That being said I do appreciate their overall theme of "live fearlessly" and they do have a few good brews (including over the edge IPA and ginger wheat) which you can now find in cans at most stores. I do hope the latest re-design will give them a new edge and make the tap room more of a destination rather than only a pre-game spot for the Panther home games.
