  • I held off on this review, I was here on New Years Eve before heading to westgate and again this past week. The service is fantastic, the beer is great, and the food, well that has become really hit or miss. I would love to 5 star this place because I grew up in the area and have been here dozens of times and it had been great. But recent trips there have left me using the word "bland" a lot. The pork schnitzel was flat out not good, and the spicy brat which was always one of my favorites here did not measure up either. Worst of all, on my new years eve visit, they were "out" of the fried potatos and left us with average potato salad and french fries. I'll probably be back, because I go to many downtown Glendale events, and have a little sentimental value in this place...but I sure hope it steps back up.
