  • I really don't want to complain... so I'm not- I'm not going to complain about how I'm an owner of Bluegreen timeshare and it was the biggest regret and biggest financial burden of my life. I'm not going to complain about the poor customer service I'd received over the phone while at home trying to plan my vacation. In fact, I'm going to give them credit for their positive: they tried. When we arrived check in was quick! In fact, we spent far more time wondering around looking for our room with no more direction than "building 12" than we did checking in. The very first thing I did was change my baby's diaper... on the floor. I guess that's my fault. My son is 11 months and crawls. I notice things like candy wrappers, dust bunnies, or any unknown carpet stuff whenever it's a choking hazard. Immediately called the front desk and had someone come and sweep and vacuum. Well, that got me looking around, and when it comes to cleaning I'm the mouse who was given a cookie. I see dried water spots on the bathroom floor and make that poor kid mop it. He does great! I go and buy groceries leaving my crawling son at the room with family. I come back 45 minutes later to my sons knees and hands straight black. It was super gross. I showered and afterwards used my washcloth to wipe a small spot ong the floor and see if it was the hard floors or the carpet. It's the floors. I called someone to come and mop my floor the following day as they told me to have my room cleaned again would cost me $75. They don't mop in the traditional sense, but spray a solution on there with a squirt bottle and then run a swifter type dry mop over it. There was a miscommunication somewhere and I had two people show up to do the job, both mopped like that. Everyday I used my pool towels to hand mop the floor Overall, our Motel6 room at the Grand Canyon was consistently cleaner- my son didn't change colors when on the hard floor. There were a MILLION little things I could knit pick about how my room was dusty, with dirty windows, blinds, doors- but my baby can't reach all that so I tried to let it go... but while this place has a nice veneer about it, it's just that; a polished surface only.
