I am thoroughly disappointed with the professionalism of this cab company operating at the Las Vegas McCarron airport. And judging by all the other reviews on their page I'm now not surprised. I was waiting at the terminal 1 shuttle stop to get to terminal 3 to check into my flight for 20 min. I knew if I waited any longer I wouldn't make my flight. So I decided it was worth the money to pay a taxi to take me over to terminal 3 really quick. I get assigned taxi 6978 (it was too dark to see the drivers name on the ID placard on the dash) and I told him I just need to go to terminal 3 really quick. He said what that's just right over there. I told him I know there's shuttles but I'd been waiting 20 min and was going to miss my flight if I waited longer. He said how much are you going to pay me? I told him whatever the fare comes to. He said gimme $20. I said what that's ridiculous I didn't even pay that much to get between here and the strip. He slammed his trunk closed and complained to the taxi organizer for the airport with the whistle. The taxi organizer said just run her down there really quick and he'll make sure the cab gets put right into the front of the line so he doesn't have to wait again.
The cab driver threw my suitcase in the trunk and I said excuse me please don't throw my luggage and he said to shut the fuck up. I was in complete disbelief! I was desperate to make my flight so I got in and the entire cab ride between terminals he's yelling at me calling be a fucking bitch and this is ridiculous he's been waiting in that line for 20 minutes. I said what is wrong with you?? How do you think it's ok to talk to someone like that? It's not like I'm asking you to do this for free I'm going to pay you. And he said to shut the fuck up he doesn't want to hear me speak. I started to take photos of his cab number on the screen and the time was 1:05am on Monday 13JUN16. I tried leaning forward to see his name on the dash or get a picture but he kept turning around and pointing aggressively at me as he yelled at me and called me a bitch that I was afraid he may swing at my arms or something if I reached forward for a photo.
I asked him to drop me off at he Hawaiian ticketing section and he took me all the way to the far end of the terminal. I had to run with my luggage all the way down the terminal, making it in time to be the last one to get my bag checked. There was literally one ticketing agent there I almost was too late. The ticketing agent had to call in to tell them she was sending one last bag. And of course I had to continue to run throughout he airport to barely make it in time to board my flight.
I have never been treated like this in my life. It was physically unhealthy for me to be running like that since I've been on treatment for a pulmonary embolism for a few months and on blood thinners. I was entirely too close to passing out from running everywhere hoping to make my flight. I called to speak to a supervisor but they just transfer you to an automated voicemail box to leave your comments. Which I did and left my callback number to be updated on the status of how they intend to reprimand this driver for being disrespectful, aggressive, violent, and unprofessional to someone who was paying him for a service. I will be telling everyone I know to never give Ace Cab Company their business when they travel to Las Vegas. And even after all of that I still was the bigger person and paid the $12.31 fare from terminal 1 to terminal 3.
