| - Our party of four dined here last Friday. Outstanding in every way, but the soup deserves some special mention. Bowl delivered without liquid so you can see various tidbits lining the bottom, then the broth is poured over them. As you spoon the soup into your mouth, you capture different flavors and textures that meld with the broth in amazing ways. This was the most interesting soup I have ever had, really excellent. Three if us had the pork chop, cooked medium with the bone, nestled on top of potato purée and Brussel sprouts and beets. A good sized portion, pork very flavorful and matched extremely well with the vegetables. The remaining diner had steak, equally impressive. Nice selection of wine, the dessert was plated beautifully and delicious, coffee served in individual French presses, everyone supremely satisfied. They are moving around August to near downtown Charlotte. All I can say is that they will rank at or near the top of preferred places to dine in Charlotte and the location change will allow many more people to experience what to us was the best dining we've had anywhere in the city.
