Totally nondescript spot in a strip mall on the east side of town, about 6 miles from the capitol. It's definitely worth the extra drive, though -- sushi spot where the waiters and chefs actually speak Japanese. I had the udon and five pieces of sashimi. Udon was delicious and tempura didn't taste like it came out of a box or anything (like it does at so many places). Sashimi seems like a ripoff at first, since you only get one piece for order. But the size they give you is equivalent to the typical 2 or 3 pieces you get elsewhere. They're big giant slices. I think this is mostly good, but with certain types of fish, it's hard to chew such a huge slice, and there was a bit of a rubbery action with some of the tuna and yellowtail cuts when I tried to down them in two versus one bite.
Decor is mostly tables and booths -- no frills, so no inner decor costs passed onto the consumer. Also, there are like 8 stickers for the Fraternal Order of the Police on the front window. No clue what that's about lol.
