  • This place has gone downhill so so fast. We have a terrible new manager and they've lowered the standards tremendously. She is very unfriendly, bossy and prone to waiving fees around and sending out community emails talking to all of us like we are children in trouble at school. 1. Last year they towed all of our cars without telling us. No email or anything. I woke up one morning on the way to WORK and my car had been re-parked by a total stranger onto the far east side of the complex. You can imagine the initial panic of thinking your car is stolen and the anger of finding out someone towed it right out of your parking spot without telling you. 2. They complain about dog poop being left around and threaten everyone with 250 dollar fees, yet the baggie refill stations are always empty, and the poop that is left on the grass stays there for weeks because they do nothing about it. One time the manager Kristin took down all of the bag refill stations saying they wouldnt offer them anymore but due to community outrage she put them back, unfortunately they still haven't taken the time to install locks on them so people are just taking out the entire roll. The end result? poop everywhere, and fines. 3. Right now our online portal where we make our payments is "down for maintenance", we have to write money orders for rent. She threatens to fine all of us with huge late fees regardless of the fact that they are the ones who are leaving their payment system down for over 2 weeks, overlapping the due period. If you're going to do this, at least give us a little grace from the fines that you guys like to levy on your own community. 4. Our water gets shut down for 3 to 5 hours at a time, multiple times a month. The buildings and pipes are old and raggedy with a nicely painted exterior to hide the reality. It's not uncommon for me to have to shower at a friends house before work because my water is shut off. Sound like fun? 5. No noiseproofing. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do because these buildings are ancient. I can hear my neighbors above me stomping around, floors creaking, playing commercials on their tv etc... Some noise is to be expected in apartment life but its absurd here. 6. Front office staff is rude and snarky and doesn't want to be bothered to do things. You will eventually get help but the two girls working up front will give you attitude for it. They are terrible customer service people. Like I said earlier they treat their residents like troublesome little kids and tend to be very trigger happy with fines and threats etc... 7. Overpriced. Enough said. This used to be a good place in a good location but the new management has totally ruined the place. I have 5 years experience here. The last two were awful.
