I needed a root canal and was so nervous that I searched for one that would give me nitrous oxide and found that this place has a dentist that does it. I read the reviews about the billing issues but since I don't have insurance that doesn't really apply to me. I do have a dental discount card and the care credit card. So I made the appointment and the dentist I had has such a soothing voice and was nice. The receptionist rang up all of my root canal at once to put on the care credit so I could have a year with no interest. I kept the print out of the list of expenses and the credit card slip. When I went back for the second part of the root canal they did try and bill me again but since I had those papers I showed them and they said sorry and I was on my way.
I do feel a little ripped off. I had a chipped tooth and went to a different dentist who did an exam and fixed that tooth and he said I needed a root canal, another chipped tooth that needed a filling and other cavities. I started going here since I didn't like that dentist and they don't do root canals. I went to this dentist several times to get all my cavities filled and when she got to the other chipped tooth she was like well it's really bad now you need another root canal. Just odd that the first dentist said it would just be a filling and a few months later it got so bad it needed a root canal. You have the xrays and have been in my mouth I'm sure you can determine which cavities are worse than the others instead of letting one wait and turn into a root canal. I'll probably just find a new dentist.
