  • Considering their business model is completely illegal (monopoly anyone?) in the Digital Cable medium in Las Vegas, NV, now their employees apparently feel entitled to push people around, similar to a mafia mentality. Had two of their Cox vans at my complex today, parking in fire lanes and blocking two garages and a walkway that's frequently used by the residents here. I informed both the techs of these, and was told "...we're a publicly traded utilities company, we can park where ever we want..." So this where we're at with Cox today: employees can park/do anything they want without legal repercussion according to them. When I attempted to report this behavior to Cox, their lovely automated system refused to allow me to speak with a real person, its not like we PAY THEM for this service...oh wait, WE DO! I've had nothing but problems with Cox cable since I've first had their service (late techs/incorrectly hooked up service/poor equipment etc.), and if there was a viable alternative, I would move to that company in a heartbeat, but there isn't (CenturyLink is laughable in its speed versus price; satellite is not an option due to speed/price; and any other cable company that's considered to move into the valley is shut down by Cox cable (not illegal at all, right?!! wink wink). This company is in business because YOU the consumer doesn't know any better and doesn't want to take the time out of your day to express your concerns/frustrations.
