I first saw Crossfit double down on groupon and was excited about it, I've never committed to a box before and this groupon was unlimited crossfit classes for a month. Sounds great right?!
I went in the following day and asked for a free trail, Laurie agreed to let us drop in Feb 2. We had our work out and she was telling us we could do regular Crossfit classes instead of the basics alternate. My boyfriend and I were liked this and agreed to purchase the groupon the very next morning to workout again.
... To my surprise, the groupon was gone. Uhh, tf?! I thought maybe it was just me, maybe I couldn't find this groupon that was just there yesterday! I come in and tell Laurie that I'm ready to work out but can no longer find their groupon. She tells me that their groupon was only suppose to be up till Jan 2. It's now Feb 3rd. Laurie goes on to tell me "yeah when you guys were talking about groupon I was like, uh oh".... As in uh oh Laurie forgot to tell us yesterday Feb 2nd, as if she knew it was going to be gone the next day. Do you not value any customer that's willing to try out your gym?
Idk if it's just me but If I was Laurie I would have said something. she knew we were potential crossfitters via groupon and said nothing. This really turned me off about the way they do things..
Long story short I would never want to work with them for their lack of communication. It would have been nice to been given the heads up.
PS: MY BOYFRIEND & I LOVE CROSSFIT
