| - Erie island is beautiful. I might be a little biased because I have a few friends that work here, and because its so convenient and located right across the street from where I work, but everyone I've brought in has had similar experiences. The art is beautiful and I wish I could buy it all! But my favorite part is that the baristas and baristos really know their stuff. The bold espresso is delicious paired with the pumpkin spice latte. When eating, go for the "crushes", their caprese is classic. I would try the french toast sandwich but I don't like bananas. My only complaint is don't go for the cupcakes, they were really dry. Otherwise, the rest of the food is great!
This place is dog friendly! Well, at least outside :D They have bowls for water, and doggy treats in the drive through. Also, when the weather's nice there's a cute little patio outside and the whole side of the building opens like a garage for some fresh Cleveland air. The cafe itself is pretty big and can accommodate larger groups, and yet there are the cute little tiny separate tables that are perfect for a someone typing out yelp reviews on their laptops:)
So if you're looking for a place that's not pretentious and serves great coffee and tea, check out erie island.
