This is what happens when you value profits over positive customer experiences.
Due to family (kids want to go to arcade), was forced to set foot in an MGM Resort properties for the first time in over a year (boycotting due to them charging for parking to squeeze more profits for executive bonuses). Casino has no poker room (my usual game) so went down to the pits for a little blackjack while the kids do their thing. Sat down, bought in for $100 with plans to re-buyin for a couple hundreds more, and gave the dealer my player's card along with the money. Dealer immediately toss the player's card back and condescendingly said 'we don't track at this table'. Wow. Really? $5-25 a hand action is too small for New York-New York/MGM? I realize everyone love whales but it's the everyday gamblers that keep the lights on for you and prevent your property from looking dead. Everywhere else give you at least token credit for sitting at a table.
Dealer had personalities of zombies - just going through the motion. Nobody was tipping but with that attitude and company policies no wonder nobody tips.
Crappy multi-deck blackjack rules with high house edge. To top it off after giving them $300 in under an hour of play, you still have to give them $$ for parking.
Awesome experience (sarcasm). No thanks, won't be back. Good job turning a property that I am somewhat neutral on (never played in NY-NY before) to a negative experience. For the couple bucks in parking fee you chased off customers that would drop a couple hundreds in your properties.
