We booked a trip for 4 guys. 2 of us were able to make it. There were 2 from our group who became unable to make it.
When we were told we would get a refund ("NO EXCEPTIONS!!!" they insist), I offered to pay for 1 of the guys not coming but asked for a refund for the other guy whose flight was unexpectedly CANCELLED and therefore, he was stuck 2,000 miles away. "TOO BAD" they say.
I reached out to the owner, who never called back. I reached out by Twitter and was RUDELY dealt with in a sarcastic and condescending tone. Again, I was willing to accept paying for 1 of the guys that couldn't make it (giving them $220 in exchange for nothing) but that wasn't enough. They wanted the WHOLE $440 from us - without giving us a ride.
The group that the 2 of us rode in turned out to have plenty of openings. Which means that no one was turned away because of our cancellations. The company just decided that it would greedily stand by its "No refunds. No exceptions" policy.
I ran a consumer business for 9 years. I can't even imagine ever treating a customer service situation in this way. Like all companies, we have our policies. And like any successful companies, we can make an exception to the policy when warranted. And for sure, we were never as rude as this company was when dealing with a customer.
My recommendation is to head over to Nellis Dune Buggy Tour in Las Vegas where I've only heard incredible things about. Great rides, great people, great customer service. Don't take the chance of losing your hard-earned money with this company.
