We came on a Tuesday night with a $40 Groupon. All of the tables in the back were full, so we sat at the end of the high bar table since there were 3 of us.
We ordered 6 tapas and asked the server to bring them out one at a time. She did just so and the timing of each dish was perfect. If we did not ask for this pace, all 6 plates would have been on our table at one time.
We ordered:
Spinach Tako: This was the second time having this dish. Again the tako was dry and chewy. The miso dressing was good. I would prefer this dish with some bay shrimp or some other seafood.
808 Ceviche: Our absolute favorite. We must order this every single time.
Buta Hara Sautee: The pork belly was a little fatty. Again we had to ask for a serving spoon.
Honolulu Shrimp Roll: This came out hot and freshly fried with a sweet chili sauce.
Kalbi Short Ribs: 6 thick tender pieces on a bed of raw shredded cabbage. My favorite Kalbi in Las Vegas.
Shrimp Curry: 3 shrimp tempura on top of curry and a scoop of rice. This dish could have used another scoop of rice.
We enjoyed everything and will be back.
