| - Depending on where you land, you may feel like you've taxied in from Carson City, but once you get there, you'll find a clean, modern terminal with a convenient inter-terminal train and slot machines awaiting you throughout. Advertisements for Vegas attractions will fill your eyes and any time spent waiting at baggage claim, and you might actually enjoy the clever baggage and security warning videos featuring Vegas performers of renown from Blue Man Group to Carrot Top, and many more. Crossing the street to get to ground transport was a bit of a chore requiring traffic direction to stem the endless stream of taxis but was no huge burden. Multi-rider shuttle services serve all the major hotels and casinos but at a fee of roughly $25-27 for one person, a taxi for two will take you direct to your destination at roughly the same price. Much to the distress of the taxi drivers (and their families, no doubt) and the transport industry, Uber has just launched widespread operations in Vegas, and as of this date (9/23/15) can apparently drop off but not pick up from the airport - but with the driver likely to get a ticket (that Uber is presently paying). All in all it's a pleasant, spacious airport that's not difficult to get around inside. Dining options appear reasonable for an airport, though I've yet to note any real destination dining that might cause a local to want to go out to the airport for dinner.
