| - Well, it's been a while since I've been to a theater. I would say the last time was when Doctor Strange was released, and even then, I was given free tickets for the viewing.
This time, I was again given free tickets and thought I'd go see The Black Panther to see what all the fuss is about.
Here are my thoughts....
As my free tickets were for AMC, I thought I'd patronize this one in my hometown of Surprise. Granted, I have never been to an AMC theater (I know...shocking) so this isn't a comparison.
Location & Aesthetics -- located at the corner of Litchfield Road and Waddell, and not very difficult to miss especially if you're driving on Waddell. There's also good signage off Litchfield as well so no worries.
Lots of parking though the parking lot lights could do with a revamp as we found some spots to be dark from blown bulbs.
The theater lobby/atrium was very organized and clean. As you enter, you're obviously greeted with the smell of popcorn which is in front of you. To one's right is the cashiers with a digital readout of the movies and times.
On the particular night we went (Friday), it wasn't terrible crowded or busy, and noise levels within the atrium/lobby wasn't bad.
Lighting was very good in the atrium, in the hallways toward the show, and even within the respective movie theater/showing.
Within the individual theater/showing, it was very clean including the floors, and with adequate lighting.
The seating were very comfortable including the armrests.
Service -- staff were professional, friendly, and courteous both at the cashier/checkout; and ticket-taker.
Any questions I had asked re: my free tickets were answered appropriately and satisfactorily.
Absolutely no issues with the theater or staff in my opinion, and I would be happy to return.
Would most definitely recommend!
