  • "Splendid" fits! I couldn't be happier to see Jeni's come to NE Ohio. If you (or your companion) is a bubblegum or blue moon ice cream person, Jeni's may not be for you, try the Popcorn Shop. Kids may be challenged here (although Jeni's generally has a spectacular chocolate). Thankfully, the always-friendly staff encourages sample tastes. Flavors here are exotic and explosive. Cherry Lambic tastes just like the Belgian Cherry Beer, Rhubarb Lime Cardamom will pop on your palate. Salty Caramel and Bourbon Butter Pecan are favorites, I always have at least one of them. I generally have a "study"; four small scoops of different flavors (just $6). Jeni's also has great-sounding sundaes and macaroons (super-luxe ice cream sandwich). I love that you can go from a really super bright & refreshing citrus flavor, to something a little more "relaxed" like Lavender, to a deep dark chocolate. We live about 30 minutes from here, and Jeni's is pretty much a weekly event. If you're in the area, stop in. Don't let the long line (which usually moves pretty quickly) dissuade you.
