| - It's a shame Yelp requires one star... AH4R, I'll begin on a positive note. Your associates are great at getting a lease in front of a potential renter, they are awesome at collecting all upfront payments and absolutely amazing at forgetting about the tenant the moment after the dotted line is signed.
I have been leasing from AH4R for just under 2 months and the experience has been terrible.
To start the house was not clean prior to moving in; the blinds dirty and broken, marked up walls, and a chest of drawers left in the front yard, from the previous tenants, that I had to chop up and throw away. The day we moved in the guest toilet flooded the upstairs and poured down into the lower level through the ceiling. Once AH4R knew I was able to shut off the water they lost interest in helping. It took two days for a repairman to fix the toilet, over a week to have a maid come clean the floor, and we are still waiting for a crew to show up to fix the water damage issues inside the walls not to mention the paint damage.
Now it all gets even better... For 3 days now I have waited to have the hot water heater repaired!! Even after speaking with the "maintenance" hotline, the operator assured me this was a 24hr EMERGENCY repair. Yet still no repairman, no hot water and no response or follow up from anyone with AH4R. Did you catch the part where I said 3 DAYS WITHOUT HOT WATER!
I understand this is a nationwide wide company, but that doesn't mean they have their act together. If you have made it this far and you are still thinking of renting with this company, RUN and tell a friend to smack you!
The only thing I have enjoyed about this experience is I really enjoy the house I rented. Unfortunately AH4R really knows how to ruin a good thing.
Ps. Can I please have a remote to open the front gate??? It seems unnecessary that I have to enter a code everyday when my neighbors get to enjoy the ease of a gate remote...
