  • This place is legit - just go, eat, and be happy. I am not from the middle east, but I am from Detroit and I would argue we know good greek and arabic food. The Middle Eastern Bakery & Deli is amazing. I had the combo plate and a meat pie and it was exactly what I was craving. The flavors of everything were on point, the people were very nice, and I enjoyed browsing the store while waiting. I will be back again and again. The only thing I did not like was that I was hoping to have leftovers but the combo plate was just one good sized meal. They also have the "fluffy" pita bread with no pocket, and I prefer thinner halves with a pocket, but that is personal preference, and anyway not the highlight of the meal!
