| - I've been able to watch this place change over the past several years. Unfortunately, it has not changed for the better. Display cases have started looking empty and dismal with less and less goodies each time I come in. When I most recently came in last week, the sweets looked unappetizing. There were several pastries, however, like some croissants and dry-looking almond croissants without any signs or pricing. When I asked for a chocolate croissant, the lady helping me couldn't figure out which was the chocolate croissant, and had to rip open one to check for chocolate inside. Signs would be useful for everyone, because I wasn't sure which was chocolate either. I guessed it was the ones below the normal butter croissant and just asked for those. She proceeded to put it into a plastic Thank-you grocery bag.
I don't think they had AC, because the store was extremely hot. My five minutes in there left me sweaty and uncomfortable. How can anyone stay to eat inside?!
The chocolate croissant I got was warm, and I hoped that it was because it was fresh out of the oven rather than due to the heat of the bakery. I'm still not sure which it was. The croissant was disappointing too, because they really skimped on the chocolate inside.
Bring cash, as there is a minimum for credit cards unless you want to pay a credit card charge. I'm not sure what the minimum is. They need some signs for that too.
I don't think I'd visit here again when there are so many other bakeries around.
