I have sensitive skin and rosacea. I went in for the calming facial and the microcurrent facial. I ended up with an itchy bumpy face the next morning. One of the products used during the facial burned and was immediately removed. I had purchased a package (NOT CHEAP) for the microcurrent facial and went back again a week later and explained my previous reaction. The girl giving the facial was so sweet and tried to work with me. This time we used a new product during the facial (as a conductor). I ended up having such a severe reaction that my face looked like I had been severely burned (and it felt like it too). Within 24 hrs I had blisters all over my face and I ended up in the ER. I am not writting this review to slam this establishment. I am writting this to advise those who have really sensitive skin to beware. ALSO, I would have thought that the owner would have reimbursed my $$ paid for the services, considering what I endured (on top of the pain & ER visit - I also missed 3 days of work- Dr's orders), but that wasn't offered. My skin hasn't been the same since.
UPDATE: Wish I could change my rating to "0" starts. I had a similar experience as Joan S. I rec'd an email from the owner after posting my Yelp review, stating that I was entitled to a refund and to call him on Fri. I sent him an email reply and thanked him for offering the refund and asked if he would like my credit card info. He wanted me to stop into the salon to discuss a resolve that would make us both happy (don't know what that means). I told him I have no desire or time to go back to the salon. He then retratcted his refund offer. If he keeps up that kind of customer service.....he will continue to upset people who in return will pass on the word to others to stay away from this salon!
