Wandering pretty far from home trying to sell vintage clothes for a friends estate , stopped for lunch at Pano Bianco. Never been around here before, upon leaving I noticed a Lot full of roses, walked over in spite of the heat ,wondered what in the world could be this ,here in the middle of lots of concrete ?
Suddenly an older man appeared , asking if he could help me as I am sure I looked lost,it was 105 degrees out and I lurking around the curb. He told me he worked in this rose filled wonderland ,asked if I wanted to come in even though the sign said closed . I declined and then he said "do you like flowers?" I nodded , he proceeded to cut off two small blooms and handed them to me with a smile..talk about human kindness ,ah what a special place this must be with employees with giving hearts! Gardens are gods gift on a trying day.
