| - After suffering from sciatic nerve problems for a while, I decided it was time to bring in a professional. I picked Massage Nirvana because I happened to be driving by and they could accommodate me right away without an appointment. No research. No Yelp reviews. Nothing. Great plan, right?
The receptionist couldn't have been nicer. She was friendly and welcoming. I was given a quick tour of the facility, which includes compact dressing rooms with lockers, a small but comfortable waiting room complete with water and juice, and dry sauna for those who wish to bake away their troubles.
I was given a choice of male or female masseuse and decided to go with a woman. Nicole introduced herself to me and led me from the waiting room to a small dimly lit clean and quiet room. I tried to lie on the table face down but quickly discovered that my muscles were so tight that I wasn't able to stay flat and I was actually in quite a bit of pain. I didn't realize that I really wasn't ready to get a massage yet because I probably should have spent a few days stretching out first before attempting this.
Nicole was such a professional and told me to just get into as comfortable a position as possible and she would work around me. I moved to my side and finally found a spot that didn't hurt and Nicole started her magic.
Since this was my first visit to Massage Nirvana I was offered the introductory basic massage at a discounted rate. What Nicole did was far from basic. She assessed my muscle condition and concentrated on every single one of my problem areas. Without hesitation, Nicole customized the massage to fit my special needs. There is no doubt in my mind that she has studied her healing craft well. She worked extremely hard to make sure I was getting the treatment I so desperately needed.
When the massage was over...and without asking, Nicole took the time and extra effort to help stretch me out to give my sciatic nerve some additional relief. Afterwards, while I was standing at the door, I said, "Bless you" and I really meant it.
Massage Nirvana or any massage place is only as good as its therapists. Nicole was simply amazing. If Nicole is any indication of the caliber of masseuses they hire, then this is the place to go if you want a highly professional massage at an extremely fair price. You will absolutely love this place. Thanks again Nicole! Impressive!
