Car broke down on the NE comer of Peoria and 35th and I needed a place to get out of the heat. I've seen Captain Bills building several times and decided to head on over and at least get a drink. I ended up ordering the 10" Italian. I told the young lady behind the counter that it was my first time and asked for suggestions. She was helpful and had several favorites. So the Italian on sourdough was the best I've had in years! Bread was dense and chewey and held the delicious dressing inside. I will definitely be back. The price was right. The service was good. The girls are constantly busy. I never saw them picking their short shorts out of their crotches as review suggested. I didn't see any political bumper stickers that have been mentioned in other reviews either.
