| - After leaving the Phoenix Sofa Factory extremely disappointed we ended up making a wrong turn on our way to Ikea and found ourselves in furniture store heaven. There were three (or maybe more) different furniture stores and after going into the extremely overpriced Mega Furniture I convinced my fiancé to go into The Dump. My first thought upon walking in was that this place was NOT a dump and these were NOT dump prices, lol. I see there's a ton of bad reviews so I'll definitely be one to say these are NOT blow out prices, I came in here expecting inexpensive furniture and I was able to find something within my price range but I would consider myself lucky. I think of all the furniture sets we viewed, maybe 4 were within our price range (I didn't want to spend over $1000). It's a big place so you need to take your time and walk around to be able to look at everything. I didn't see any dining room sets that I liked or any home décor (paintings and statues, etc) that I liked but the decorative pillows are super nice however they're like $99 each and I'm not about that life. I would probably spend $100 for two of their pillows but definitely not for us one unless they were hand stuffed by Jesus. They have a lot of nice sofas. My fiancé fell in love with this $2400 sectional and for that price, all that was offered was the sectional, not even the cushions that were displayed with the sectional and I personally could not justify spending that much, no matter how comfy since it's only two of us in our moderately sized apartment. Thankfully, I was able to sway her and we ended up buying a sofa set that was about $1600 cheaper and just as nice. Our salesperson, Dante, was great. He was really personable and not pushy at all so we never felt pressured. He allowed us to look for exactly what we were looking for and never tried to persuade us to purchase outside of our price range. They have 90 day same as cash financing so we went with that option and the associate (I can't remember his name, he was light-skinned and tall) who set us up was great too. Between him and Dante, my The Dump customer service experience was so pleasant which is great because I am a stickler for customer service. I will say we weren't made aware of the $149 delivery fee until we had to pay which was annoying but we had to pay it, we live all the way in Queen Creek and we have a third floor apartment so we really didn't have any other options. I wish they would have told us about it beforehand but it obviously wasn't a deal killer. Overall, it was a good shopping experience and if you ever find yourself at The Dump, ask for Dante.
