| - Not sure about all the bad/negative reviews here on Yelp....but I had an excellent experience buying a 2015 Ram 1500 Crew Cab from Sahara Ram. I contacted the internet dept and was emailed back in minutes by George Zimmerer. He informed me of the "no haggle pricing" and the Ram 1500 I was interested was in stock. Once I arrived at the dealership, I asked for George and he immediately came over to greet me. What a very nice guy to talk to and deal with....highly recommend George. He drove me over to the Ram lot and gathered up the keys to the Ram I wanted to see and test drive. The test drive was smooth, easy and stress free. George told me to drive as much and as long as I needed to make sure the truck was what I wanted. My wife and daughter were with me and George recommended that my wife drive the truck as well just to be sure we both liked it. I thought that was a nice touch.
After the test drive, we finished up the deal with a little haggling on my trade in (needed to get payoff to make the deal work for me) and George went to bat for me and got what I needed. In fact, George was able to get me about $200 more than payoff. While I was hammering out the trade in, a few other sales people gave some "goodies" to my daughter and helped keep her busy. My daughter got a few balloons, and various Ram logoed bags and other items.
Paper work/deal sheet was done quick and I was given the price I saw online without issue (actually I kept thinking to myself this is too good to be true, but I got what was promised). Plus George was able to get me 1.9% financing for 60mo with zero out of pocket. He showed me various different rates and terms available, but the 1.9% for 60mo seemed the best for me. Just awesome to deal with. It sounds corny to say this, but this is how car buying should be.
Finance guy did try to push some "extras" on me, but I just politely declined and signed off the papers and was out of there quick. I never buy anything from the finance office, I dont need 50 oil changes or 25 year warranty.....lol.
Overall, I got just about $10,500 off a new 2015 Ram 1500 and 1.9% financing for 60mo. How can I complain? I purchased the Ram over Memorial Day weekend and I feel I was given a fantastic deal. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially George Zimmerer to make a deal with.
A++, 5 stars, 10/10.
