  • My husband and I have been living at San Carlos for about a year and I really can't say enough about this place. We have lived in 3 different apartments in the Valley and are very picky. San Carlos feels like a small, safe community with familiar faces/staff. The grounds are kept up well, the pools and lounge/patio furniture are always in great condition and the fitness center is kept clean and organized. While our apartment is not a modern "newly renovated, all new everything", we still love everything about it. The space, the large closets, large decks and thick walls are all perfect for us. It is a quite community where you learn who your neighbors and staff are. We have also had times where we need routine A/C fixes and such. The repair guy that comes is friendly, trustworthy and quick. Our experience with the staff in the office leaves us feeling cared for and comfortable. If we ever encounter a problem, they are quick to help. I literally never write reviews, but want everyone to know about the gem that is San Carlos. A quiet, well kept Scottsdale neighborhood with little crime, paired with great staff and service has us wishing we didn't have to move. Thank you San Carlos for a year of quiet, restful nights and comfortable living conditions without busting our budget in such a nice neighborhood!
