We were seated promptly and Avery, our server, was very helpful answering our questions about various menu items. We decided to try the pot stickers on -- advise after she mentioned that they were one of the most popular appetizers on the menu.
The pot stickers came five to an order with a dipping sauce that was just right without to much salt. They were crisp and delicious with only one fault which was that their temperature was uneven; half of the potsticker was hot the other half tepid. Other than that they left you craving for more of these crisp Asian delights.
For our entrees we ordered Korean pork tacos, and fish and chips. The fish came out hot and crispy with excellent shoestring potatoes.
The pork tacos came out and were way to spicy for my dining partners taste so I swapped my entree with her.
To my surprise I found that the pork tacos were not pork at all they were chicken!
Calling Avery over she immediately took the bogus tacos back to the kitchen and quickly came back with the real deal. they were much tastier than the chicken tacos.
These minor hiccups did not really detract from our total dining experience but was the reason I rated the Brew Garden with 3 stars instead of 4. The service was good and the excitement at the bar and outside seating typifies what the atmosphere of a good sports bar is like.
