  • Well I keep trying public works and it's not getting better. Just came from there with my usual white choc mocha hot coffee. I have to say it keeps going down hill. The drinks are not standardized and depending who you get the drinks differ in flavor vastly. I guess I need to test the coffee before I leave and have them make another. The syrup taste stale or the changed to a cheaper brand to save money. It's terrible. Maybe the new blond woman recently hired and made my drink is still learning but my coffee was really bland. It was so good when the place just opened I don't know what's happening. If this keeps up. Public Works coffee will go to the wayside like every other coffee shop that has tried on Water street. And the prices are high but I'm willing to pay for excellent coffee. Even with a local city discount a 16oz coffee with small muffin ....tax and tip was 9$. I gave it many tries I even bought coffees for friends and coworkers, but no more. I'll have to give up on Public Works.
