  • They quoted me a price ($60 a visit) online and showed up and did a great job. Thanks to my no-show last company, everything was really overgrown and they spent nearly 4 hours getting everything in shape. Two weeks later they returned right on schedule and proceeded to again trim every single bush and shrub. They were here just under 3 hours when the owner, "Cam," who has a Los Angeles phone number, called to inform me his guys had spent 4 hours so he was raising my price. I informed him they were here only 3 hours (I was home) and that there was absolutely no reason for them to have been here over 1 - 1 1/2 hours, as most of the shrubs had hardly grown in the two weeks since their last visit (this was early spring. After their second visit, many shrubs were over-trimmed to the point of being tiny). I suggested his guys do as my last service had done and trim the front one week and the back another resulting in all shrubs being trimmed once a month, but he said that wouldn't work.(!) Long story short, he raised the price to $90 a visit and I found another company. It's clear his local crew was attempting to drive the price up by spending as much time here as possible the second trip and the absentee owner obviously had no choice but to charge by what they told him. Because of their bait-and-switch pricing, I would absolutely not recommend them.
