  • As others here have stated, I also wish I could give zero stars. I have a home warranty and I called them because my downstairs A/C was not working properly. As of today, they have been to my home 4 times! The first two times, we found out on the third visit, that the tech had been working on the wrong A/C the entire time. On that third visit, the new tech finished working on the WRONG unit and asked my husband to call the home warranty for a get a new work order for the A/C we actually wanted fixed. Then on the forth visit, they FINALLY cracked open the correct A/C and the tech informs us that we need to pay out of our pockets $400 for a cleaning before he can even test it! What?!!! So it has been almost a month and we have one A/C that did not need fixing fixed and the A/C we actually called about is not fixed at all. I am not sure if they are trying to scam me or not but it sure feels like they are. Needless to say, I have asked the home warranty company not to send them back. Hope the next company is better than these guys. Update- *****Luckily for me, we are able to call a local person from the warranty company to help us. We convinced them that we deserved a second opinion based on the above story. The second company that came out told us- not only did we not need to clean our unit, but they were able to test it just fine without the $400 cleaning. Turns out we do need an entirely new air conditioner unit. So these A/C Guys were scamming us into a cleaning that was completely not necessary for testing the air conditioner.
