  • I will preface this review by saying that I have not been to any other organic meat markets since switching to organic meats was a recent (and expensive) decision of mine. I know friends of mine who will drive out to local farmers that sell organic meats but since that is not a realistic option for me I am left with Elmwood. The prices left me in a bit of shock since I'm used to mass produced meats but anyone buying organic meats is likely aware of the costs. A few of the people behind the counter are not exactly welcoming and friendly either. The actual products are quite nice including the prepared items like their sizzling steaks & kabobs. The steaks are fantastic in quality and delicious when prepared properly. They also carry various salads & other side dishes but I have not tried any and would rather make them at home. The also have some more rare meats like bison kept in the freezers if that's something you're interested in.
