  • Been here twice and both times the service and one app have been great (Baked pimento cheese with grilled bread) but that's where it ends and that's why I'm only giving 3 stars. My wife and I got the Filet there the first time we visited. We both ordered them medium and the center was every bit rare! Not worth sending back and I did not mention to our server. My experience is it's a waste of time and as other reviewers have mentioned they usually take way too long to return the poorly prepared steak and it's over cooked. The most recent time I ordered the burger and it was horrible! I consider myself a burger expert (These places have good burgers and one is practically next door /Teds Montana Grille, Bad Daddy's, Fenwicks and South 21) and this was a bad burger! Could it have been a one off bad meat or mix-up....possibly but I have had their burger at their sister restaurant Dogwood and it had this same weird taste. I can't describe it other than stating it was bad and doesn't hold a candle to the ones I mentioned above. Fenwicks is my new Fav burger in Charlotte- ridiculously good- thank me later! Lastly, if you want an excellent steak and don't mind spending extra then go to Del Friscos!
