I was very impressed with this Residence Inn moreso because they are conveniently located across the street from PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Parking: it's $27/day, but it is in a secure lot located behind the building. It's a really tight parking area so proceed with caution.
Check-In. I was a few hours early, but the lady was nice enough to issue me my room key and explain all the features of the hotel and how to navitage it. You can tell she has done this quite a few times. I am thankful she let me check in early because I would not have known what to do or where to park.
Room: The room is decent size and well layed out with the desk right when you walk in, the kitchen to your left, living area to the far right and the bed to the left. Bathroom is around the corner from the bedroom area. The TV is on the smaller side, but is on a swivel base allowing you to view it from all parts of the room except the bathroom. There is a small dining table to eat at and the cabinets are stocked with your usual kitchenette required plates, cups, mugs, silverware, and cooking utensils. The bed was comfy and the only issue I had was with the closet doors as they came off their tracks. I informed the front desk about it.
The checkout process was smooth and I would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself up this way.
