Espresso A Mano is a wonderful little coffee shop in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. We stopped by for breakfast Sunday morning and the place was almost completely filled with patrons chatting, working, or enjoying their Sunday morning cup of coffee.
We got in line and ordered two cappuccinos and almond croissant. The almond croissant was the best - flaky, sweet, and not overly decadent. We could not get enough of the almond paste filling! The cappuccino was excellently prepared as well, with the perfect layer of milk foam decorated on top. Overall, the ambiance and layout of the shop really drew me in as well. A large garage-door style wall/window sits at the front of the store, lets in a ton of sunlight, and is a great way to people watch on the streets of Lawrenceville.
If you need a go-to coffee place in Pittsburgh, or just a cool place to hang out on a weekend morning, definitely put Espresso A Mano at the top of your list!
