  • Almost bought my dress here. The consultant was knowledgeable (if at times a bit awkward with me) and they have a fairly good selection of gowns to try on from well-liked designers, including my favorites: Justin Alexander and Lillian West. The consultant had selected the dress that I almost ended up buying, so I think their instincts are pretty good, once they see what your preferences are. In the end, I debated if the dress was too simple for my tastes, and ended up going back to an earlier dress I had liked, at another store in Charlotte. But Poffie is worth checking out in your dress hunt! PS: bonus points for offering other formalwear as well, including mother-of-the-bride ensembles.
