We came here for dinner after a ballet performance at the Smith Center. When I walked in, I was surprised by the dim lighting in the restaurant. I felt like I was meeting to make sinister plans over cocktails. Hmm...I do like that thought though. Food wise I have to start off by talking about the lobster bisque with grilled cheese sandwich. Yes, I said a grilled cheese sandwich, and let me tell you that yes I'm raving about a sandwich your parents would give you to hold you over until dinner. This sandwich was the epitome of what grilled cheese should be, and it was served along with a fabulous bowl of the best tomato bisque. Okay, I'll move on now to the great calamari appetizer. The calamari was topped with banana peppers, prosciutto, and cherry pepper aioli. Another decadent dish. We also had the filet sliders which were also good enough to keep this as a top restaurant for me. The cocktails were great also. I had the Mary Pickford and Weekend at the Waldorf. I like how the cocktail menu is broken down by different ages and eras. I was wowed by my experience here. Great food and great service.
