This was a bit disappointing. The food here was extremely salty. My parents are Taiwanese and I was so excited to show them Mekong Plaza and try this restaurant with them. We picked out a couple of typical Taiwanese dishes. Ba wan which is the Taiwanese meatball. It's supposed to be a soft mochi like outer dough that is steamed with meat, bamboo shoots, and mushrooms in a savory sauce. It seems like they have some ready made that they microwaved with very little filling. The result is the consistency of a rubber band. We also tried the mei fun which was only ok and very salty. The same goes with the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The broth was very salty and not tasty and he meat was chewy, not tender. The only item that seemed decent was the scallion pancakes, but it was as your would expect from any other Asian restaurant. We hope to find another place that has Taiwanese food.
