| - I was incredibly impressed, and very much enjoyed, my first experience at Barre3. I have gone to many barre classes at other studios, and Barre3 exceeded my expectations for this type of workout. From the moment I walked in, a an early 6am class at that, the instructor Adele went out of her way to support, encourage, and connect with me as an individual. I had never been to a Barre3 studio, nor was I familiar with their particular style of barre, however I left feeling accomplished and encouraged. Adele often (discretely) checked in with me throughout the class and always gave modifications of the exercises we were doing without pointing me out (as it felt like I was the only one who needed them). It was helpful to hear encouraging mantras such as "this is your 60 minutes" and "listen to your own body." Another notable take away from my experience at Barre3 was that I am not a local AZ resident (I live on the east coast and was visiting family). I've found, at other studios, once you mention that you are not from the area and therefore couldn't be a weekly repeat customer that the instructor checks out; Adele did the opposite. She asked me personal questions and seemed to care about my journey as an athlete. She invited me to come back the next time I was in the area without putting any pressure or guilt on me. I cannot say enough good things about the positive energy of the studio and Adele's warmth. When I am back in AZ visiting family, I will be back!
