I don't get it.
The good: great parking; clean; friendly; good coffee; and great prices!! Slice of apple pie is $2. Slice of pineapple upsidedown cake is $3.
The bad: my pineapple upside-down cake was served cold (not room temp - actually chilled). Ordinary cake with thin, unimpressive layer of industrial pineapple topping which reminded me of a donut house. 2 stars.
The mediocre: apple pie - hard to complain at $2/slice but it was not exceptional. But if I'm in a bakery - I want/expect/demand exceptional. I happily would have paid double for an exceptional slice of pie. Instead I got ordinary and I don't like wasting empty calories at a bakery for ' ordinary'. 3 stars.
The odd: so they have three tiny tables set up for diners. I get the impression retail is not their target market. Can't really figure out why this place exists. Perhaps they mostly sell wholesale???
